GAME: Present – Past Verb To Be

TO BE- Choose its correct tense and form

We keep learning the verb TO BE. This time we will try to distinguish its present form from its past form. Remember, the past of the verb to be is “was” for singular except with the personal pronoun “you” and “were” is for plural. Give it a try, it can be fun!

Seguimos aprendiendo el verbo TO BE. Esta vez vamos a diferenciar su presente de su pasado. Recuerda, el pasado de este verbo es “was” para singular excepto con el pronombre personal “tú-you” y “were” para los plurales. ¡Pruébalo, puede ser divertido!

WORKSHEETS: Verb To Be

El verbo “TO BE” significa “SER” o “ESTAR“. Con el sujeto YO (en inglés “I“) va siempre “AM” (I am: significa “yo soy” o “yo estoy”).

Con los sujetos TÚ, NOSOTROS/AS, VOSOTROS /AS o ELLOS /AS (en inglés “YOU“, “WE” o “THEY“) va siempre “ARE” (You are: significa “tú eres”o “tú estás”).

Con los sujetos ÉL (en inglés “HE“), ELLA (en inglés “SHE“) o ELLO (en inglés “IT“) ponemos siempre una letra “S” en este caso para los tres se usará “IS” (She is: significa “ella es” o “ella está”).
