IDIOMS

Idioms are very common in English and they have no meaning in Spanish so we should learn them by heart, or at least try not to die in the process. Here you have some of them with the correct expression in English, the translation in Spanish and a picture in order to remember them better. Those where collected from the Cambridge University Press‘s webpage, so special thanks for such an useful content. Try to learn one for day and make sentences with each of them. Tell me how you are doing and if you have any doubts, please comment down below! Thanks for everything and I am so sorry for not uploading posts so often. Easy peasy!

FLASHCARDS: Parts Of The Body

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

These are the flashcards related with the parts of the body. As you can see, I used to go from the basic and simple content to the complicated and complex one. There are a lot more words than these and if you are interested I can add them. Just write the words you would think they are completely relevant and I will do its correspondent flashcard. Your corrections are my motivations.

PIECE OF ADVICE: Being organized is the key, that is why when you are printing flashcards you should classify them. There are different classifications: by topic, grade, lesson… I keep them in separated boxes and I treasure the post-its because they make the whole process easy when you are trying to find the exact resource that you are looking for.

FLASHCARDS: Parts Of The Face

Cambiando de tema, toca las partes de la cara. En estos documentos encontraréis flashcards relacionadas con este tema. Por cierto, uso imágenes que sean lo más realistas posibles, tal vez menos bonitas y atractivas al verlas pero los niños y niñas se divierten mucho con ellas porque son muy parecidas a lo que representan en la vida real.

SÚPER CONSEJO: Expongo también que a la hora de hacer la libreta interactiva me decanto más por los dibujos ya que les es mucho más motivador el colorearlos.

Finally changing the topic, now it is the turn of parts of the face. In these documents you will find flashcards related with this topic. By the way, I use the most realistic images, sometimes less cute but children have lots of fun with them because they really represent the real life. They look like if they were real so they identify themselves in these.

PIECE OF ADVICE: I also want to say that when it is time to do our interactive notebook I prefer drawings instead of realistic pictures because they are much more motivated for coloring them.

FLASHCARDS: Extra Animals

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Terminando ya con el vocabulario de animales, algunas palabritas más. Algunas veces son los profesores y profesoras las que asignan un determinado número de palabras al alumnado; lo mejor es dejarles a ellos decidir cuales de esas van a serles útiles, cuales necesitarán saber y cuales no.

SÚPER CONSEJO: El aprendizaje personalizado ayudará a los discentes a ser más autónomos y exigentes a lo largo de la enseñanza.

Finishing with the vocabulary about animals, here you have some extra words. Sometimes teachers are those who designate a determined number of words to the learners; the best option is letting them choose which ones are going to be useful in their daily life.

PIECE OF ADVICE: Personalized learning will help pupils to be more autonomous and demanding in their educational process.
